Child Protection Statement and Policy
- Fanta-Music is committed to providing a safe environment for children. We follow the recommendations of Tusla: Children first, National Guidelines for the Protection and Welfare of Children, 2017.
- A mandated person (i.e. a person who works directly with children and thus holds legal responsibility as regards their welfare) has a legal obligation to report any suspected case of abuse. The definition of abuse, the different types of abuse and the signs of abuse are outlined in Chapter 2.
- The procedure for reporting suspected cases of abuse is outlined in Chapter 2 also, as well as in the Tusla Guide for the Reporting of Child Protection and Welfare Concerns.
- The local Child and Family Agency Social Worker for the Clontarf area is located in Dublin North City: Child and Family Agency, Wellmount Health Center, Wellmount Park, Finglas, Dublin 11. Phone: 018567704.
- In case of an immediate threat to a child, An Garda Síochána will be contacted.

- All information will be dealt with in the strictest confidence.
Please Note
- Supervision: Children under 18 years of age are only supervised during their lesson time and in the classroom. It is the responsibility of the parent/carer to arrange for prompt pick-up after the lesson.
- Contact: please ensure your contact details are up-to-date.
- Photo/video: Neither photos nor videos will be taken during class.
