Lessons

Fanta-Music offers piano and music theory lessons.  All levels and ages are welcome.  We endeavour to give a solid foundation, whether the purpose of taking classes is music for pleasure or high-level goals.  Regular practice is essential in both cases in order to improve and feel the progress.  

The use of a lesson diary is essential for both parent/carer and student to keep track of what is done in class, as well as for parent/carer and teacher communication.  Please ensure the student brings the diary as well as all music books to every lesson.

Theory lessons are encouraged for a good understanding of the musical language.  Piano lessons will have an element of basic theory, up until grade 5.  Students who wish to continue music theory from grade 6 on should book extra lesson time. 30-minute lessons are sufficient up until grade 4. From grade 5 on, 45-minute lessons are advised.
